There are many ways of thinking and people forget that sometimes. Due to our educational system, linear thinking is predominant, especially in business, where we have processes, targets, kpi’s, policies and guidelines, code of ethics and conduct. So much is “mechanized” in order to be able to influence people and keep them in the role instead of developing their true strengths and qualities. Associative thinking is natural and an ability each of us is born with. Don’t forget about it. Conscious use of different types of thinking in dialogue and meetings can be a powerful tool for understanding each other.
